Welcome to guitarist/composer Neil Haverstick’s web site. Haverstick is known for composing in microtonal tunings of 19, 22, 31, 34, and 36 tones to the octave, as well as exploring fretless guitar with pure tunings from the Harmonic Series. He has 10 CD’s available, and has written 2 music theory books, as well as articles for Guitar Player, Downbeat and Cadence magazines.
Besides being the website for Stickman, there are articles about tuning related matters, written by top musicians/theorists in various fields. Additionally, there are links to other interesting tuning related sites, as well as Stick’s favorite folks. If you have an idea for a link, or have written something on tunings, send a post, we’ll check it out.
